ok this is what i had to do on my john deere b. i snapped off all the nuts.(not on purpouse) and then the manifold was so rusted to the head that i ended up hitting it with a hammer to break it into pieces. then trying to get the studs out i also snapped them flush with the head. i had my older brother take it to work with him and he heated up the head and got the remaining studs out. just remember if u break it into pieces you will have to clean out the inside of the head of any pieces of metal. just my tow cents. jonathan s
