Hmmmm. I'm still curious about this. Has anyone on here ever actually seen anything happen? We've jumped the Super M off the truck for YEARS and never had anything happen other than it shortens the life of the jumper cables. I'm real careful about it, ground to the frame on the truck and where the ground cable connects on the tractor and I make that connection last. The Super M can be hard to pull start without a full size truck and I'm sure not going to buy a full size truck to start my tractor 10 times a year.
