I know one thing - it depends on how good the diesel is to start with!! Dad recently got a semi-tanker load of diesel contaminated from the supplier with algae. It started growing in almost everything we had put it in. Supposedly, it has to have water to survive. Not sure if no water in the fuel means the algae would die. It looks like moss growing in water... Howard
