Just depends on you I have worn contacts for 3-4 years now and do everything in them with or with out a cab and has never really caused any problem for me I have even ran equipment on construction sites in the dirt and dust and get along just fine. The biggest problem I have is working under equipment I have a stigmatism (sp?) so the contacts are weighted and turn when I look at things from sideways which really messes with your head.
