Both places I've worked in the past 27 years banned use of contacts on the job. Safety concerns with chemical fumes and dust. And in food prep the risk of losing them into the feeds. Daughter wears them most of the time. Seems like her eyes are always irritated. Wife wore them for awhile but she would develop conjunctivitis. Son and I both never messed with them, biggest problem we've had is dirty lens and occasionally bent frames.
