It is truly amazing what running in a circle will do. When I first saddled my horse I run him in a circle and then would try and saddle him. If he did not stand still he would run some more. 2 episodes,on different days, of that, sweat running off of his belly, and he stands still to be saddled. I also found out that it also works for loading in a trailer, although the first time it did take me 2 hours to get him in.
