You still have air in the system. Did you bleed the hydrovac. Some have two bleeders on them. Years and years ago we would put a piece of plastic tubing over an opened bleeder valve and put the other end of the tubing in a Coke bottle that had a little brake fluid in it and then pump away. That was before power bleeders were invented. It takes a long time for air to get to the wheel cylinders on a truck.
