We have been running 20inch rows for about 5 years now. Machine is a bit cheaper than going with 30/15 interplant. Basically trying to get down to one machine for corn/beans. We have seem a small yield increase, it also shades out weeds faster in corn. We were running a case planter before, but have always had jd, so we switched back and like this planter much better. Easier to move around, its much lighter, and easier to operate overall. Plus it doesnt take as big of a tractor to pull. We run a JD 4650 mfd on it.
