When I was a wholesale rep for a large Chevy dealer parts department in the 1980's the GM crate engine program definitely sold Targetmaster engines...and the Goodwrench engines were the remans. Now I believe they use the Goodwrench name for all of their crate engines...but about 10-15 years ago, they started using the AC/Delco name on their remans. Not sure if they still have that program or not, because I've been out of GM parts for 13 almost years. But "Taskmaster" and "Thriftmaster" definitely were names for Chevy truck engines in the 1950's as well.
