Walt, common problem on the ford N series tractor is weak spark and by chokeing it that makes them run better but doesn't correct the problem. Check the arcives in the 9N/2N/8N fourm and you will see time and time again where chokeing has lead to the fact they had a weak spark. Dell is one that hammers that home about once a day if not more
