If your changing one hose, plan on changing both. On a truck this old, I would replace ALL the lines on the truck, but especially the front lines all the way from the master cylinder to the wheels. Internally collapsed brake hoses are more common than anyone realizes. These are usually caused by twisting or kinking the hose during front pad replacement. In Pa. if a hose even looks iffy during inspection it must be changed.
