93 Chev 6.5 won't start hot?O.T.

When the engine is hot and the weather is warm/hot at the same time the glow plug light won't even flash and she won't hit hardly while spinning it over,won't hardly crank period.What would cause this condition,a relay/timer/or something else?The engine was bought new as a replacement and now has 60k on it.It smells of raw diesel when this happens.Cold weather,cold engine,warm engine w/cold outside temereatures starts ok,just hot engine with warm temperatures is a no start.What needs to be replaced or repaired?Thanks for any helpful info.
