Are you cutting grass? or plowing dirt?
How big is the tractor?
If it is cutting grass then I would charge $30/hour minimum and if you get insurance then more. I was the neighborhood kid that cut the grass for the old folks on the street with a push mower and I got $10-15 per lot, city lots. No insurance, just hard work and a pair of sneakers. Of course that was 25 years ago or so.

If you rebuild the motor, you could use hardened seats and valves, and unleaded fuel. But if your old tractor runs good, a simple lead substitute added to the gas is a perfectly reasonable solution.
