Tractor work for others?

I have created a beast by letting people know I have a tractor. I love to help people and don't mind doing things for them. I really enjoy it! Usually they cover my gas and buy me lunch etc. I had a serious question to start cutting a field on a regular basis today. I am going to go look at it next week. About 6-8 acres of regularly cut field. 2 Questions. 1. What is a fair way to charge for time and wear and tear? 2. What do I need to know about liability? If I start this on the side do I need some kind of insurance? Thanks!
