Harbor Freight is an offshore retailer and most of their stuff is ffrom china and is dependable. I amu using a 3000 # from there with a snatch block (makes it 6000 # maximum and have nnot had a problems loading rolling stock on my trailer. I load a M amd an A Farmall with the winch I would suggest a 5000 # winch with a snatch block for heavy pulls. That should get you out of the mud. Some guys go way overboard or pull bigger stuff.
