we ran one for years behind a 970 Case or 1850 Oliver and it stood up fine to 100hp. We always kept the knives and shear bar up which is the key to doing a good job and reducing stress on the drive. Dad would get the drum rolling and run the shear bar in until it started ticking then back it off a little it cut really fine. pans are prone to wearing through. We relined ours once.
