I was sitting in a parking lot eating a hamburger when a kid pulled in with straight pipes that came out under the doors.Had a fine looking girl with him. After he shut down the racket I told the girl to be careful getting out of the car with those hot exhaust pipes so close. The kid snapped at me What do you know.I told him that I knew a girl that got a bad burn getting out of a friends car on those pipes.Burn scars can be ugly.Next thing I noticed he had 2 6x9 speakers with big magnets sitting loose on the rear window shelf.I asked him if he knew what those speakers would do in an accident or a panic stop. The kid says Ive got good brakes.I told him the speakers didnt have brakes and they would come forward and strike both of them in the head. The girl looked at me and said ,Is that right?I said you can bet on it.I wanted to tell her to get rid of her stupid boy friend but kept quiet...Teenagers can be pretty stupid.....
