When you go to see them, try to keep your cool... girlfriend used to work at a bank and someone came in all hot and nasty... by the time it was over, they closed all his accounts for him and demanded immediate payment for the loan on his house.

If you are reasonable with them, and it was indeed their fault, they will take care of it.

Bankers can be a pain and I have been frustrated with them too. It costs them money to get new customers and they don't want to lose you. They'll fix the problem.
