Our friends have one of those sleep number beds, king size with a separate control for each side. I can't stand it - I'll take my decent-quality pillow top over that one any day. They love it and wouldn't trade for a pillow top... Bottom line is you really need to sleep on one for a few nights before you can make a decision, everyone likes different things.
