Forget the 9N,2N or 8N for mowing on the side of a hill . The brakes are marginal at best on them also they have trans. PTO & don't have live hydsys . Get you a small newer 4wd and spread wheels out as far as you can get them . also use a sickle bar type Pittman's mower that will mow down the bank and stay on top if a groundhog has been around you & tractor might take a swim . I have a 1715 Ford /New Holland used to have a 8N after mowing on WV hill sides with 1715 I sold the 8N there is no comparison.
