I cannot remember where you are located, but for what it is worth, BAMCO of northern WV is an excellent machine shop for block, crank, head work. Heck they even rebuilt my front pivot. Turned it on a lathe. Their lathe was big enough to allow the entire front axle to "swing" as the pivot was cut. They did have to unbolt a neighboring machine to allow for the space, but they did it. Entire engine cost $490 for machine work. This included rebuilding the head, regrinding the crank, cooking the block and installing sleeves. The flywheel was in that too. Swinging a 72" axle on the lathe was less than $100. They pressed the throwout bearing for free. They also have a Ford flathead/vintage engine specialist. Good Folks that I will do businss with again. Aaron
