Massey Ferguson 65 year

I was given my grandfathers 65 Dieselmatic and I do not know what year is is. It contains a S/N of 686607 can someone tell me the year of this tractor? It also has the multipower lever which I do not know what it is supposed to do, can someone explain that to me because I do not know if it is working.
