Hate to say it but my 2005 powerstroke had 5000 miles on it when it died in heavy traffic. Restarted, would only go 5 mph. Deputy told me I couldn't drive on the shoulder which I was doin'. After she left went 'nother hour until came to hill and could not go. Called my son and towed year old truck with old cadillac. John law said I had 5 minutes to get outta their sight or they would tow and bill me. Ford people were very nice about it, but would not tell me the prob lem. I had heard about electronic throttle causing this, but never confirmed. I can tell you the gas pedal has no cables or linkages, only small wires and connector. Tried to put ice cream stick in throttle body but no luck. Any emergency tips for this would be appreciated.
