Drove a 1952 8N 35 miles home from repair shop when I lived in ND in 80's. Last weekend drove my 1949 Farmall H with loader and tire chains 26 miles (13 miles each way) in a blizzard to rescue the in-laws who had no power for 2 days. Got their 4x4 truck plowed out of shed then drove them to a warm house in the local town then back to my tractor for the ride home (brrr). Had to plow 3/4 mile of gravel road to get to the highway as plows were not out due to continued drifting. Won't do that again...looking for a cab tractor for next year. :-)
