I keep a gun and ammo where nobody can find it at the farm, but its ready to go if a coyote or a fox comes up around the barn. The idiots that made our gun laws didn't ever have a threat by wild animals on their flocks or herds, if they did it might be different. For our American friends, our ammo must be locked in a cupboard away from the guns, the guns must also be locked in a cabinet, so by the time you get out a gun and get out some ammo you could be a victim of man or animal
