I am presently away from home for a month and in order to get the internet with my laptop I use my cell phone with Alltel. It costs $25 a month and does not use any of your minutes. It is available anywhere you have service and is usually faster than dial up. If you are out of the Alltel area it will go to either Sprint or Verizon depending where you are, and I found out that when it was on Sprint one time it was much slower. Overall, I am quite pleased with it.
