Brad, If you wanna jump or charge two six volt batteries wired in series (= 12 volts) using a 12 volt charger or another 12 volt battery YES its the series combination of the two you jump/charge. Then you still jump/charge + to + and - to - BUT ITS THE + ON ONE BATTERY AND THE - ON THE OTHER THAT GETS CHARGED. The + would be on the + of one six volt battery and the - on the - of the OTHER six volt battery. The other 2 NON JUMPED battery post of the two sixes are joined together in the middle tie point. Sames true for two twelves in series if you wanna charge at 24 volts. Clear as mud??? John T
