What a coincidence. I just finished watching Series 6 Disc 3, the last
series they made in 1989. Just turned off the CD player and went to
YT for a quick fix and saw your post.

After having read all the books, we also rented the series from
Netflix and have been spellbound with every episode. I won't know
what to do when its over. Move to the Dales straight away I
guess.....
