Remember one thing. No insurance company is your friend. They may call and pretend to be concerned about how she is feeling etc. What they are trying to do is get you to say she is okay.
Been there, done that. NEVER trust them. They are in business to make money.

And others here are spot on about the car. A neighbor of mine had his own agency. He told me that if you stick to your guns they will eventually settle to get it off their books.

Hope the wife is ok.
