hey in to deep - I used to work for the State D.O.T. here in Ma. - We used to get bags of old cement from a building supply and put them around the base of a bridge for that problem. Just pile them against the bridge wall, stab them with a screwdriver a few times = after the water gets to it, it will become hard as a rock.
