Anyone else having hay trouble?

Howdy, Just curious if any other hay sellers are having problems moving their hay this year. This is the first time in 5 years that I haven't sold a single bale of my alfalfa at this time of year. Usually I'm working down to the last layers by now. Granted I've upped my price this year but still 3.00 for first cutting alfalfa/timothy and 4.00 for second cutting isn't that bad. Considering that fuel was up near 3.00 a gallon when we were putting this hay up how in the world can folks sell hay for 2.00 or less and straw for 1.75??? I just don't get it. I just wish I had enough to fool with hiring a truck. I'd just ship it to florida and forget all the cheapskates around here. Sorry for the rant. --old fashioned farmer
