Nothing magic about a Brillion seeder. You can do the same thing by pulling a cast iron packer behind your already good grain drill. You can buy a packer for $100-300. Then reduce your seed rate by 30-50% because with better seed-to-soil contact, ...more seeds grow. I used to seed with a loader tractor, hung the packer on the loader while pulling the drill and seed wagon behind when going to another field. Later built a rubber tired packer, just left it hooked on behind the drill.
