Anybody that knows John Deere - will probably tell you how bad the 1010s and 2010s were (or are). Well, here's proof of one that runs, and doing something useful. Had close to four feet of snow a week or so ago, and another 6" day before yesterday. Snow and drifts got so deep that two of my "summer" trucks - that I take off the road in the winter - were totally buried in snow. I dug part way in with a tractor-mounted snowblower. Then tried to pull my 88 diesel Blazer out - but it would not budge with my wheel tractor. So, tried my 1960 Deere 1010 crawler-loader. Worked much better than I thought it would. It was kind of a pretty day - and digital film is cheap.
