I agree. The tractor is probably the same as another MF for a different market. Did the guy buy it hoping to make money? It you give him a lower offer he can sell it right away. If he insists on the higher price he may or may not sell it. Most buyers are pretty smart and the price is too high for hobby farmers I think. It all depends on how bad he wants to sell it. You might be the only one interested. Anything for sale is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. I backed out of a land deal that was over priced. It still wasn't a lot but after I backed out it's been sitting for 4 years and I don't think any realtor wants to list it because the stupid owner paid too much years ago and wanted to make money. In 50 or 60 years the land fill will take it over. It has lots of restrictions and the county will never put a high value on it since they'll be taking it over eventually. Dave
