David, Was that farmed with more modern equipment, or only with horses? On this farm we have about a 1/2 mile of water frontage with a slope like that, and steeper... we just don't have quite as high a cliff at the bottom. Mabey 15 feet in most places. Here, at least, farming on that hill ceased with the arrival of tractors. It's just rough pasture land now, and staying that way.... BTW, keep the pics coming. Love seeing the other side of the pond.
