hey walt...ya, we'll have ceiling fans in every room in the house by the time she's done with me. i have to admit i think they're great too. we've just added a large covered front porch on our house 40'x8', and she made me wire the ceiling of that for two more of 'em outside the house. i've even taken old ones that i've replaced from the house and hung them in my shop. (after i remove the frilly little light fixtures that is) so much of my heat gets trapped way up in the inside of the peak i need them to push it back down to me. even with air conditioning, i like that little breeze blowing on me in bed in the summer time. i guess it makes me feel like the windows are open or something. -mike
