Undersized JD bearings should be available. I would not know where, but it is unreasonable that they would not be. Re babiting an insert is possible, but requires special tooling, and knowledge, and Babit material. I would not attempt it unless I knew the process from experience. Others may know of a shop to get it done. Finding a new bearing, and shimming it to undersize is also possible, and more rapid. JimN
