Replate insert type bearings ?

Does anyone know where or how to replate insert type main bearings? I have a JD B and have found a under size belt side bearing but am still in need of a flywheel side bearing. I could get by with the old bearing if it were to be replated and it would be even better if it could be plated a little heavier to fit an undersized crank. I have talk to some machine shops that say it can be done but they don't know of anyone still doing it, kind of a lost art I guess. Any leads would be appreciate, this is holding my son and I up.
