loader question

Have a problem w/JD4230 we own. It has a JD725 loader. My dad dropped the front loader down too low while the tractor was running. The loader locked up and we ended up taking off the hydraulic hookup in the back and taking it down to the local JD dealer to have them unlock it. We put the piece back on but there is a problem with the loader jumping slightly when you try to bring it down. It jumps back up and then stays in place. It can be a problem when loading round bales. Is it air in the hydraulic line, can anyone suggest a fix???
