Yeah, I am recuperating after soaking in the heat from the fireplace all day. Of course I had to pick a day when it was 52 degrees outside and sunny. You're totally right - I thought the ritual of sharing every disease that the school kids caught was long past. I notice that you used the greatest tool known to man in order to complete the painting - procrastination. It has helped me "finish" many dull and tiring jobs in the past. After all, it isn't important who does it as long as it gets done. I am hoping to get started on the cast iron tomorrow. Once I get that cleaned and painted, the crankshaft turned, and the front axle support built up in the rear hole where it is out of round, I will be ready to move the process to my son's shop where we have room to start putting it back together. I'm in no hurry as long as I get a little done each day. Now if I can just avoid the four-year old granddaughter and her daycare germs............
