I would think there would be a good chance to find a good one in a wrecking yard. If you found one check the oil if it is still pink and doesn't stink there is a good chance will be good. I have never attempted a auto trans rebuild, it may be just like an engine rebuild, just replace all the worn patrs? Check with Allan I think he did that for a few years.You would probably spend as much for kit as you would for a good used trans.Too much frame rust ? Do your vehicles get a yearly safety check from the DMV.Stan
