The mechanical timing should be dead on. I really took care to make sure all the dots lined up before I put the cover back on. Not only that but it's a PITA to get the cover back off, the engine it installed backwards so it has to be pulled out to get the timing cover off. I did have the lines off and turned it over to bleed the lines. I think I have a fuel problem though. Just got an email for a fellow who knows these little engines pretty well. He says the injector pump should shoot fuel 6" when turning over, two of mine just dribble. I think I figure that one out and I might be getting some where... Thanks, K
