Here in my part of woods ( north east Texas) some sale barns sale some calves that are anywhere from 200 pounds to 600 pounds at the very beginning of the sale. These calves usually go for 20 to 50 cents a pound cheaper than the "regular" calves that sell later on in the sale. I know some calves seem a little off or little slower but allot of them look good and act normal. Just curious what the calves are and what dettermines them to get put in the front of the sale. Been going to sale barns a long time but never really thought about it much till last couple weeks, asked around and no one could really give me a good answer. Thanks JM
