In my experience with them moving snow the thing you have to watch for is that you don't get enough snow in front of the blade that the blade won't raise over it. If you get too much snow in front of the blade and the tractor spins out if you can't raise the blade over the snow you won't be able to drive forward and you won't be able to back over the snow either. I've found that a 3pt blade works best in combination with a front end loader, use the loader for deeper snow and the blade for cleanup work.
