You must`ve come thru the dealerships when common sense still prevailed. I ain`t sayin that there aren`t some sharp techs out there, but....
Two years ago I was offered training at an ACDelco training center for a great price thru our rebuilders assoc. I took every class I could. While I was there I asked the instructor why was there only independant mechanics at these classes, where were the dealership guys?
He said that GM feels it costs too much to send their techs. To their own training center??
What happens then, is if you have a problem that isn`t covered by a bulletin, you`re kinda SOL.
