I had that same novel idea back in my senior year of high school and it flopped bad. If you want to do this, you gotta have alot of money, for sure. That was my main problem- costs added up fast. Another problem you hit is classmates that dont respect your property. I started off with a fair good running Cockshutt 30, and by half way thru my senoir year, it was so messed with, all I could do is just haul it downtown to have the local Agco dealer patch some things back together. My only other advice to you is if you want to do this, dont do some plain jane tractor like a John Deere B or Ford 8N. Do something off the beaten path, and unique. Family tractors are excellent to do as well. Good luck with whatever you choose
