OT, transmission mechanicks?

On a 1994 Olds Cutlass Cira I have i think the low gear bands are slipping and wondering if they are adjustable or if it will have to be a complete overhaul. The car is a 3.1 with the overdrive transmission and 199,000 on it and I use it every day for work on a newspaper delivery route of 150 mile. And replacement autos of that size are just not to be found with power windows and coulum mount gear shift to keep the shifter out of the ribs
