hello richard, the drain plug for the transmission housing assembly is at the rear most lowest spot on the right side of the trans. housing,, where the pto shaft housing bolts on. put your head between the right tire and look at the pto housing where it bolts to the trans.housing and about 2 inches ahead of that split,down low you will see a 1" plug with a 3/4"square hole in it,,this is the drain.
now go to the left side of tractor ahead of the wheel and look at where the brake linkage from the brake shoeband, is pinned and cotter pinned, to the yoke shaft from the pedal , right there at that inter section is a 1/2"plug on the housing, this is your fill marker. and as glennster said, your fill hole plug is next to the shifter at the top of trans.
on both left and right axle housings you must remove the pans to get old oil out and remove the plug just above the split of the pans and rear axle housing to fill the pans again as this hole is the fill level !!
the rear axle housing use around 3 pints each, and the trans housing uses around 6 quarts, be sure to fill them by the oil level plugs though !!!!
