they more than likely have long range plans for your property, either for commercial, residential, or building schools. with eminant domain, they decide YOUR land is better for them than what you are doing with it. we lost half our homestead farm several years ago cause the town needed a school. they condemed the parcel they wanted, nothing you can do but pull up stakes and move as far away from town as to can.
