For doing what you've done so far. You have a big, kind heart. I have to tell ya, I dont "need" a dog either, but having one sure is good for the soul. Sometimes my dog can make me so mad, but the next moment I am laughing so hard I allmost cant breathe. I think you have the right idea. Put up a few ads and see what happens. O good newspaper will usually post lost and found ads for free. Also, sometimes the first thing that comes to mind when someone looses a pet is to go to the vet and see if they heard anything. My dog here is'nt a drop off, but he is a rescue dog.
